XHTML Documents Must Have One Root Element |
All XHTML elements must be nested within the <html> root element. All other elements can have sub (children) elements. Sub elements must be in pairs and correctly nested within their parent element. The basic document structure is: <html>
<head> ... </head>
<body> ... </body>
